Third weekly session (Friday, 15 December), with my team of U14.

The session is organized as follows:

  • Jogging and feints sequences as warm-up phase
  • 1 vs 1 situations with and wihtout the goalkeepers
  • Variations with wide free players
  • Final small sided game

 Main objectives of the session are:

  • Feints without pressure
  • Feints with active and full pressure
  • 1 v 1 duels all over the pitch
  • To have fun

This training session is focused on how to play the individual duels and on feints which are tested without pressure first and then under active and full pressure

The 16 available players works in pairs and in front of each other like a mirror,  during the warm-up phase, and the they are divided into 3 groups to coach the 1 v 1 phases

Two groups work with the goalkeepers

The third one carry out an exercise with a 1 v 1 duel to dribble the ball over four small doors

The final small sided game has the same objective of all the other exercises: all-around 1 v 1 duels (inside small sided spaces)
